We are different people after the last few years. Coming back into spaces requires a care and thoughtfulness that audiences and artists deserve. The time away has given us the opportunity to reflect on how The Gift can meet people where they are now, how to welcome people into our space in new ways. While we are still figuring out how to bring more people into our stories, we are driven by the truth – that art is for everyone.  And we are committed to removing as many barriers as possible.

We look forward to captioned performances, relaxed performances, audio-described performances, sensory tours, options for different price points, content advisories, pre and post show conversation starters and will make sure that rehearsal and performance spaces are those that welcome those with mobility challenges and all gender bathrooms. Service animals are also welcome. We will have an electronic guide available, featuring physical notes and elements to expect in the performance space and the production itself. – Co-Artistic Director Emjoy Gavino

The Gift Theatre is committed to making our home and work as accessible as possible to as many as possible. If there’s anything preventing you from attending a performance or something we can do to make your experience more enjoyable, please let us know.
